We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to support our commercial and operations teams. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the accurate input and ongoing maintenance of customer pricing, monthly retro claims, and inventory control for our bonded stock. The successful candidate will work closely with sales, finance, and logistics to ensure smooth and timely administrative processes.

  • Review pricing data to ensure accuracy, highlight discrepancies, and suggest improvements.

Retro Claims Management:

  • Calculate monthly and quarterly retrospective discount claims based on agreed customer contracts.
  • Liaise with the sales and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of all claims.
  • Maintain and update the retro claims schedule, tracking contract terms and expiry dates.
  • Proactively notify relevant stakeholders of upcoming expiries or renegotiation needs.

Product and Catalogue Management:

  • Enter newly launched products into the internal quote template, ensuring all required data fields are correctly populated.
  • Compile a comprehensive weekly report listing new catalogue additions, and distribute it to internal stakeholders.

Bond Stock Administration:

  • Monitor and update records for bonded stock, including incoming shipments and current inventory levels.
  • Input new stock landings into the system and coordinate stock collection orders.
  • Reconcile goods-in documentation with system entries and verify associated storage and handling invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with storage protocols and assist with stock audits as needed.

Support Functions:

  • Respond to pricing-related queries from the sales team, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Support other administrative functions as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.

You will need

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, and a basic understanding of VBA/macros).
  • Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to work confidently with pricing, discounts, and calculations.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high levels of accuracy in all data entry and reporting tasks.
