About the role

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin or further their career in finance.

Main Responsibilities

Processing purchase invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
Handling supplier queries and building strong relationships with clients
Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records and filing invoices
Supporting month-end and year-end processes
Assisting the finance team with ad hoc tasks and administrative duties as required

You will need

A basic understanding of finance and accounting principles
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not essential
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Willingness to learn and grow within the role
