About the role

Hours of work 6pm-6am

4 out of 7 days

• Overtime opportunities also available
• Fully funded CPC training hours provided
• Will be required to work outdoors including in hours of darkness.
• Will be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Role can be physically demanding, especially with the number of times the individual will get in and out of a cab during a shift.
• Will need to be flexible in both attitude and be able to work varying shift patterns and hours (including at short notice).

Role Purpose: Primary role is to ensure that suitable vehicles are available for loads in the time / location / condition required to meet all legal / safety and customer requirements whilst fully adhering to Health & Safety policies and procedures.

You may be required from time to time to undertake such other duties as the business may reasonably require such as IDT’s or Class 1 - responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers stores.  

Our Class 1 jobs do require handball and manual work which can be a physically demanding. This includes working outside in adverse weather conditions ad handballing product at some of the delivery points.

You will need

Class 1 Licence Holder

Driver CPC Holder

Ability to deliver excellent customer service

Experience of multi-drop; temperature controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential

Routes vary daily and therefore successful applicants will need to be flexible in work and hours of work (including at short notice)
